Three ways to work, one deployment
Infrastructure delivery happens in the office, in the van and on site, so the tools need to fit each setting without splitting the record. Stratal now offers three routes into the same deployment:
- Enterprise Desktop for office teams who need a dedicated Windows workspace.
- Stratal Field for Android for operatives who need the jobs and field tools their organisation enables on a phone.
- The Field PWA for supported browser-based field workflows on other devices.
All three connect to the same Stratal deployment, so permissions and the records each user can open remain under the organisation’s control.
Stratal Enterprise Desktop for Windows
Enterprise Desktop is the Windows companion to the Stratal Portal. It provides one protected working session across jobs, planning, workforce, fleet, maps, assurance and commercial delivery: a secure WebView2 workspace with protected session handoff and idle-safe renewal, without repeated nested portal login windows.
It is built for the working day, with native drag-and-drop uploads, an evidence upload queue with progress and retry, desktop notifications, deep links and the system tray. Offline programme and field packs support reconnect synchronisation.
For IT teams, x64 and ARM64 deployment architecture, MSI and Setup packaging, enterprise channels and signed updates support a controlled rollout, while diagnostics and support bundles help investigate the working environment.

Stratal Field for Android
Stratal - Operative Field App connects operatives to the jobs and tools their organisation enables. Setting up takes three steps:
- Connect. Install the app from Google Play, then enter the company address supplied by your Stratal administrator.
- Sign in. Use your authorised account. Access follows your organisation’s security and role settings.
- Get to work. Open the jobs, messages and field workflows available to your role and deployment.

The Field PWA: field work in the browser
The Field PWA is an installable browser workspace for field teams. My Work and My Day bring assigned jobs, checklists and evidence into focus, and supported field workflows capture evidence and complete checklists against the work record so the office can review delivery in context.
Configured offline field and programme packs support selected work without a continuous connection, and supported queued work synchronises on reconnect. Where the device and browser support it, teams can use the browser’s install or add-to-home-screen option. Your administrator can confirm the available offline scope before mobilisation.
Your organisation stays in control
Desktop and field access work within the same Stratal deployment. Your organisation decides which apps are available and which records each user can open, and access follows the roles and permissions it configures.
